I have been teaching in a Freinds school since 2000. I love it. I am the reading specialist for k-3. Love the work-- I keep very good company, don't you think?
My sister and I traveled to Mongolia a few years ago. Loved every minute of it. We just got back from Las Vegas with 10 girls from Newark "61. Had a great time there too. Much to see in this world worth the seeing :) |

This makes me think I am not very funny! I have no stories to share with the whole '63 world... Isn't THAT funny?
TRUTH OR DARE: One time in 10th grade I skipped school. Sue Hill wrote me an excuse, and I brought it in at noon so as not to be totally delinquent. Well anyway, the secretary looked at the note, then at me, then the note. She asked if I was feeling better. I said yes. She asked how Margaret was? (My sister Margaret was a senior that year) I said ok... She asked, "Did you see her this morning? " I answered no. She asked, "How is it that you didn't see her when she too was sick and just came in a few minutes earlier with a note from home. I paused. I knew I was busted... I said, "Well, we have a pretty big house..." THE RESULT:
I spent time in detention until all my truant time was made up. Both parents were called in for a meeting in the middle of the day...
Needless to say, I was punished by them as well.
Moral of the story: Watch out for sick sisters.. Or never underestirmate the school secretary... |
