A graveside service for Stephen John Wieber, 57, of Heath, Oh., will be held at 2 pm Monday at Newark Memorial Garden, Newark, with the Rev. Tom Myers officiating.
Mr. Wieber, a farmer who was employed for 10 years as a fireman on the Newark City Fire Department, died May 9, 2002, at his residence. He was born February 4, 1945, in Newark, Ohio to John F. and Esmae (Handy) Wieber. He was a graduate of Newark High School class of 1963.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Esmae (Handy) and Jerry Peffers of Newark; father and step-mother, John and Janet Wieber of Newark; wife, Patricia Arnold of Heath; sister Melanie (Mark) Owens of Heath; brothers, Chris Peffers of Newark, Rich (Darla) Wieber of Buckeye Lake, and John Scott Wieber of Newark; several nieces and nephews; and special firefighter friends.
