Services for James Clark Shronk, 35, Temple, Texas, formerly of Newark, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Criss Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Pyles officiating. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Shronk died Friday morning in Kerrville, Texas. He was born April 11, 1945, in Columbus, to Alvin Shronk, of Newark and the late Elizabeth (Mitchell) Shronk.
He was a lineman for Dobbs Electric Company, Brady, Texas, member of Cox United Methodist Church, Vietnam veteran and a graduate of Newark High School class of 1963.
Surviving besides his father and stepmother, Gladyce Shronk of Newark are his wife, Monabell Shronk; one son, Byran Shronk of Newark; one daughter, Tiffany Shronk of Newark; one sister, Penny McClung of Newark; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Elfrieda Shronk of Hillslow, Texas. |
