Edwin Michael(Mike) Neff, 33, of Canton, Oh; was pronounced dead on arrival Saturday evening at Aultman Hospital.
Mr. Neff was born May 11, 1945, to Gerald H. and Ruth (Pifer) Neff of Newark, Oh., a graduate of Newark High School class of 1963 and had attended Ohio State University and Ohio Northern University.
He was a veteran of the Viet Nam conflict, having served in the U.S. Navy and was a former employee of Buckeye Security at Aultman Hospital. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Canton Jaycees, Disabled American Veterans of St. Mihiel Chapter No 6. and the Phi Mu Delta Fraternity of Ohio Northern University.
Survivors include his parents of Canton. A sister Emilie (Ronald) Rappoport and a nephew; Todd A. Rappoport all of Paris, France.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev.Tom B. Homrighausen officiating. Cremation will take place following the services. Burial at Trinity Cemetery. |
