Services for Darlene Frances (Hughes) Stewart, 41, 673 Heath Road will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Criss Brothers Funeral Home, with the Rev. George A. Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Stewart died Tuesday afternoon in the Heath Nursing and Convalescent Center. She was born July 2, 1943. in Newark, to the late Martin Van Hughes and Thelma G. Sprouse Hughes.
She was a lifetime resident of the Newark area and a 1963 graduate of Newark High School.
Surviving are her husband, Frank E. Stewart; two sons: George S.Crawford and Steven Todd Crawford, both of the home; three brothers, Robert L. Hughes of Heath, Ronald V. Hughes and Donald E. Hughes, both of Newark; two sister, Mrs Robert (Patricia) Thomas of Coshocton, and Mrs. Robert N. (Shirley) Camp of Hebron.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. |
