Graveside services for Price Curtis Baker, 52, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Newark, are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville, with the Rev. Robert Martin officiating.
Mr. Baker, a self employed interior designer and space planner, died Sept. 4, 1997, at his residence. He was born May 1, 1945, in Columbus to Dorothea Oliver and the late Joseph Edward Baker.
Mr. Baker was a 1963 graduate of Newark High School. Prior to moving to Chicago, he was associated with Joseph Baker and Associates, Newark. He was a former chief of design for JFN Inc. and formerly associated with Delores Miller and Associates, and Holabaird and Root. He was also an abstract painter.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline (Lieb) Baker; daughter, Sybil Lake Baker of Hamden, Conn.; sister, Mrs. Chris (Deborah) Holliford of Dallas, Texas; sister-in-law, Mrs. Andrew (Kaarina) Sterrett of Granville; and several nephews.
A brother preceded him in death.
