A funeral service for John David Yockey, 60, of Hebron, will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta Funeral & Cremation Service, with the Rev. Debra Hayden officiating.
Mr. Yockey died November 1, 2005, at the Heath Nursing Care Center. He was born November 9, 1944, in Newark, to the late William and Marie ( Mossman) Yockey. He was a graduate of Newark High School class of 1963.
Mr. Yockey worked at Lakewood Middle School in maintenance.
He is survived by two sisters, Eleanor Smith and Evelyn Brown, both of Newark; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; former wife Carol Wilson of Newark.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Harold John Yockey. |
