A funeral service for Clyde "Ed" Ogilbee, 62, of Newark, will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home, Newark, with the Rev. Keith Sjostrand. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. April 29, 2007. Interment will be afterward at Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Ogilbee a retired machinist, passed away April 27, 2007, at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born August 25, 1944, in Newark, the son of the late Charles W. and Mary (Piper) Ogilbee. He was a graduate of Newark High School class of 1963.
He was married to Cheryl McCormick . She survives of the home. Others include a son, Edwin Ogilbee of Newark; four daughters, Patricia ( Angelo) Dillo, Jeannine Carlson, Sheri Mertz and Leah Ogilbee, all of Newark; a brother, William Ogilbee of Newark; two sisters, Hazel Ogilbee and Norma Vaughn, both of Newark; and six grandchildren Aubree, Bryan Ogilbee, Cody Adkins, Shalee Carlson, Shana Francis and Raymond Mertz.
Mr. Ogilbee was preceded in death by his parents; one son; Wesley Ogilbee, two sisters; Ellen Messina, Sylvia Mcclain, and one brother; Charles Ogilbee.
