Gary Lee Vonins, 57, of Indianapolis, died Oct. 28, 2002. Mr. Vonins was born June 24, 1945 in Utica, Oh., to Charles Vonins and E. Marguerite (Spearman) Vonins. He was vice president and National director of operations for ITT Educational Services, where he worked for 36 years. Mr. Vonins was a graduate of Newark High School class of 1963 and the Columbus (Ohio) Business College.
Services: 10 a.m. October 31 in Plainfield Christian Church, of which he was a member. Calling: 4 to 8 p.m. October 30 in Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center-Speedway. Burial: Crown Hill Cemetery.
Survivors: wife Darlene S. Heim Vonins; children Charles B. Vonins, Jennifer V. Richmond; step-brother Larry (Debbie) Jones of Newark; step-sisters Julie Lewis of Tulsa, Ok; Patricia (Donald) Martin of Newark; Sharry Pickrell of Dresden; three grandchildren.
