In my 8th grade language arts classes this year, I have three certified therapy dogs who come everyday to listen to poor readers read aloud. Students have improved their reading scores on standardized tests as well as developed relationships with a German Shephard, a Portugese Water Dog and a Golden-doodle. There's lots of love floating around room 400 at Jupiter Middle School of Technology!!! |
